Whew! Day 2 of week 4 is done! I just keep telling myself only 4 more workouts until the recovery week. I will definitely be posting up some pictures at the end of this week.
I really do enjoy this workout although today the V -push-ups and the moving push-ups were definitely challenging
I love the stretching at the end. I am definitely beginning to feel more flexible.
I have been reading for the last few weeks. I am on Insanity week 3 day 2. Results from the fit test are good. No weight loss, but really I am not on a diet, I am just trying to eat well. I too have a little one (8 months) and I am trying to fit in the workouts during her naps in the afternoon. The reason I love these workouts is you need no equipment or supplies, just yourself. Its hard to stay motivated when you do not sleep through the night and your workout times are the only times you have to get anything accomplished in your day, but being healthy is more important than a clean house and so I will continue and read this blog to try and stay motivated.
Hi Roxanne,
you totally just expressed how I feel! Their naps are so precious and it’s either relax, accomplish something, or work-out! It is definitely a toss up sometimes but I agree that it’s nice not to have to set up a gym at home before starting the workout. I am lucky enough to have my husband around in the morning until 8:45 so I try to do it then so I can get my shower out of the way ( which is an accomplishment in itself sometimes : ) Little ones are so worth it but it is hard! Keep working at it!
Hi, am in day 2 of the workout. Did anyone else struggle to complete the workouts? I find myself gasping for air and take a break but then am missing some of the excercises. I do love the workout and WILL do this because I like to sweat .:)Does it become easier to finish without taking breaks?
Hi John,
I am so glad to hear you have started the workout. Yes, the workouts are a struggle to finish but it gives you a goal to aim for and you will be shocked how even next week you will start to feel like you can keep up even a little bit better. I have had a rough time trying to fit in all the workouts the last 2 weeks and I notice that even when I miss a few days it feels harder again to complete them. Good luck!
I just started this workout routine today with the Plyometric Cardio Circuit, I did the fit test last week. I really liked it, which is very unusual. I find doing videos boring usually, but Shaun T is very encouraing and fast paced. I have a 3 year old, and work full time, so I am going to try to do the routine before she wakes up in the morning. I like that the routines are just 35-40 minutes each, which is easy to fit into my schedule. Thanks for the encouragement, I have enjoyed reading your blog and will keep checking back.
Hi,
I just stared this wokout & my entire body is sore but a good sore….theres being moments that i want to quit already but I pshyc myself to keep going am not a quitter. I just have a question for everyone. For the 1st month, you do cd’s 1-5 and rest 2 days, and second month 6-10 w/2 days rest? is this correct.
