			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey everyone, sorry I disappeared for awhile.  I actually thought that at least my last post made it live from the fit test last monday but I guess not : (</p>
<p><strong>I have been so loving the comments! </strong> You really have no idea how it motivates me to keep going!</p>
<p>Let me just sum up this last week.</p>
<p>two babies with ear aches and respiratory viruses&#8230; no sleep for anyone&#8230;  no getting up early to do the workouts before my husband left for work and only being able to get a  jog in last Wednesday and the cardio circuit instead of the recovery on Thursday.  Then we decided to leave the sick house and get up to my grandparents cabin on Whidbey island.  It was just the medicine we all needed.</p>
<p>I was discouraged that I only got in three workouts  last week but I realized that is what having a <strong>lifestyle of fitness</strong> is all about.  <strong>There is never a perfect time to have a perfect schedule for working out</strong> but you have to <strong>just jump in and fit it in whenever you can.</strong></p>
<p><strong>I am feeling more up to the challenge this week. </strong></p>
<p>I still have yet to have the time to do the cardio abs after the pure cardio workout but I will get there!</p>
<p>I have to say that <strong>Pure Cardio felt tougher today</strong> then last time but I can take that as encouragement because staying consistent with the workout means that the strength makes these workouts easier as I go along.</p>
<p>So I was thinking that I would <strong>try to incorporate some nutrition elements into the experience</strong>.  I thought I could start with at least eliminating the junk.  <strong>cookies, mochas, soda, french fries&#8230;.you know the good stuff! </strong>I&#8217;ll let you know!  I did good today we&#8217;ll see about the rest of the week.</p>]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Happy Valentines Day everyone!</strong> I hope all of you who are joining me in this workout had a wonderful day of rest and are ready to <strong>hit it hard for Week #3! </strong></p>
<p>I couldn&#8217;t quite fit in the workout on Thursday so <strong>I did complete Friday and Saturdays workout</strong>.  For me setting my standard at <strong>5 days a week is what is reasonable</strong> right now.  My 2 year old has been running a fever and it has made for some long nights.</p>
<p>Doing <strong>Cardio Power and Resistance</strong> on Friday went really well.  I felt that I pushed myself to the end and it led me right into <strong>Pure Cardio</strong> on Saturday.  <strong>I couldn&#8217;t complete Cardio Abs which was a bummer.</strong> I have done the <strong>Cardio Abs</strong> routine only once before a long time ago and it was tough.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know about all of you but <strong>I am feeling a change in my body</strong>.  I know that the <strong>Fit Test is tomorrow</strong> and I am hoping to see some improvement from last time.  I will try to post some pictures this week and maybe even get on a scale.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey Everyone!  <strong>I hope everyone that is doing this workout is feeling great and sticking with it</strong>.  I know that I have had my challenges but I am staying encouraged.</p>
<p>Yesterday was the <strong>Pure Cardio which was quite challenging</strong> for me but then today I felt I had way <strong>more endurance during the Cardio Circuit. </strong> I got to the level 1 drills and was able to do quite a few more push-ups than the last time I did this workout.</p>
<p>I have to be honest, I<strong> really cannot go quite as fast </strong>during the 123 heisman or even the jumping jacks when it gets to the last round of the warm-up.  Does anyone else find that they are going insanely fast?!  Maybe I will get there.</p>
<p>I have had moments where thinking about all 60 days is overwhelming but <strong>I am really taking it one week at a time</strong>. For some reason that is easier for me than taking it day at a time.  We are already almost done with week #2.  Please let me know how all of you are doing who are doing this workout,<strong> it will be encouraging</strong>!</p>]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey everyone, sorry the blog has been a little quiet the last few days.  I hope everyone had a fantastic Superbowl Sunday!  All I can say is that there was way too much good food around, or should I say bad food.</p>
<p><strong>Day #5 felt great doing the Pure Cardio</strong>.  I felt like I was still working with a few sore muscles but I got through it!</p>
<p>I have to confess that I took Saturday off.  I think I may give myself grace on Saturdays as my body is not quite used to a 6 day a week work-out.</p>
<p><strong>Well, time to kick off week #2!</strong></p>
<p>Now with Saturday and Sunday behind me <strong>Cardio Power and Resistance actually felt refreshing. </strong>This is one of my favorite workouts so far</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p><strong>Stretching does not equal relaxing</strong>.  I had to try to stay focused and in tune because I know that even stretching will lengthen and recover my muscles.</p>
<p>The squat position was really hard for me to hold as long as he wanted me to the first time around.  I had to take a bit of a break while he was explaining the pulses.  It was a little easier the second time around when we went a little faster.</p>
<p>Something that I have really appreciated about <a title="Shaun T" href="http://www.extremehomeworkout.com/insanity-with-shaun-t.html">Shaun T</a>. in all these work-outs so far is how much <strong>he talks me through everything</strong>.  It can be hard without an instructor that can actually see me and tell me if I am doing something wrong but it seems that everytime I am in an unsure position he will say exactly what I need to hear.</p>
<p>I wanted to mention that <strong>I have read through the nutrition guide</strong> that came with this workout and as much as I am going to try to stay on a healthy diet, I will probably not be following it exactly.  I am actually still nursing my 9 month old and even adding in this workout has made me feel even hungrier than usual.  However, I am trying to <strong>cut out addiction to</strong> <strong>chocolate milk around 10pm : ) </strong>, but honestly the last few nights I have just wanted water.  There is something about working out that automatically makes me crave better foods.</p>
<p><strong>I know that good eating habits are going to be a huge part of my success over these next 54 days!</strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday and today were definitely insane!</p>
<p><strong>Day #2 was the Plyometric Cardio Circuit</strong> and this is definitely the toughest one for me.  I have actually tried the <a title="insanity workout" href="http://www.extremehomeworkout.com/insanity-with-shaun-t.html">insanity workout</a> in bits and pieces and I knew what was coming with this video.  I am excited to stay consistent this time and actually see myself be able to stick with this particular video to the end.  Those down and ups with push ups and sprints in between are killer!  I love where the stretching comes into the workout.  It’s nice to stretch when I feel so warmed up and it also gives me a slight break to gear up for the next part.  The stretch that is a challenge for me is the deep lunge.  I know it is a flexibility thing but it also seems to bother my knees a little bit to go that deep so I just do a regular lunge</p>
<p><strong>Day #3</strong> which was today was the <strong>Cardio Power and Resistance</strong></p>
<p>I really felt myself kick into gear today.  It felt good to start my day with a strong workout.  This was not an easy one by any means but I felt that I was able to keep up with it better than yesterday.  I am definitely going to need to improve with those moving push-ups but I have a feeling after 60 days it will be a lot better.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi, my name is Galadriel and I will be doing the <strong><a title="Insanity workout" href="http://www.extremehomeworkout.com/insanity-with-shaun-t.html">Insanity workout</a> for the next 60 days</strong> and blogging about it.  I am a stay at <a title="home" href="http://www.insaneworkoutreviews.com/home/">home</a> mom with 2 young girls and a <a title="home" href="http://www.insaneworkoutreviews.com/home/">home</a> workout is not only practical for my budget but is the most time efficient way for me to exercise.  It also works best for me as an indoor workout because the weather as of right now is not the most comfortable for staying fit by outdoor activities.</p>
<p>My youngest daughter is 9 months old and I have fortunately been able to lose quite a bit of the weight from the pregnancy.  However, there is not only the last bit of weight but also the feeling of being totally soft around the middle.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>With spring and summer not too far away I figure this will launch me right into being ready for shorts and a swimsuit again. </strong></p></blockquote>
<p>If you have been putting off starting your workout, I invite you to join with me!  I am sure I will be faced with days that are challenging and yet days that are nothing but rewarding.</p>
<p>Today marks the beginning of a long and hopefully rewarding journey.  Day #1 of the <a title="insanity workout" href="http://www.extremehomeworkout.com/insanity-with-shaun-t.html">insanity workout</a> according to the calendar that comes with it is the fit test.  It killed me today!  Sometimes my best personal trainer is me, especially when it comes to being my own competition and really pushing myself.</p>
<p>There are 8 exercises that you must complete in the fit test.  I had to see how many I got in the amount of 1 minute per exercise.  It may not sound like much but when I got to about #6 (suicide jumps) I started getting pretty tired.  I’ve got my numbers recorded and I hope to see improvement when it comes up again on Day #15.</p>
