Hey Everyone! I hope everyone that is doing this workout is feeling great and sticking with it. I know that I have had my challenges but I am staying encouraged.
Yesterday was the Pure Cardio which was quite challenging for me but then today I felt I had way more endurance during the Cardio Circuit. I got to the level 1 drills and was able to do quite a few more push-ups than the last time I did this workout.
I have to be honest, I really cannot go quite as fast during the 123 heisman or even the jumping jacks when it gets to the last round of the warm-up. Does anyone else find that they are going insanely fast?! Maybe I will get there.
I have had moments where thinking about all 60 days is overwhelming but I am really taking it one week at a time. For some reason that is easier for me than taking it day at a time. We are already almost done with week #2. Please let me know how all of you are doing who are doing this workout, it will be encouraging!
Just wanted to let you know that you and your husband’s blog was the last push I needed to get the Insanity program. I just started this week and let me tell you I have never felt so out of shape. But after every work out I know I have worked hard and look forward to working out again. It’s always good to see other people going through the same types of things, like thinking Shaun T. goes entirely too fast. And also like you I have found Cardio Strength and Resistance to be my favorite so far. I will continue to read your blog as you go through and find some encouragement knowing that I am not the only one struggling through at times, knowing that it the end it will all be worth it. Thanks again!
I agree they move really fast on the 123 heisman. I am not sure if I will get there!
Hey! It’s nice to find some girls who are doing the program too! It’s no joke! I just finished up week 1 and I’m just beat! I’m already seeing results too. They do go quick and I try to keep up when I can but I have to be careful to not completely burn myself out in the first or second cycle of the exercises or I will be completely dead. I go my own pace but just push myself. If you are doing that too, which it sounds like you are, I’m sure you will see the results! They are all in ALOT better shape than I am and they even take breaks and stop. That’s reassuring for me! I look forward to following you! Take care! Dig Deep! Hah!
Hey Sondra,
I have to say I felt like my muscles were going to give during the first week! Now just finishing up week 2 it was much less painful : ) I was talking to my husband about it and he said that his sore muscles returned once he started the second month. Let’s just stay encouraged and focused on month 1… I am definitely taking this week by week.
I totally agree that it is encouraging to see that they rest as well, because they are all ripped! I don’t think my abs have the ability to look the way some of those women look. We are trying though right?!
Go Insanity!
Hi Heather,
I am glad to hear that you are in the same boat. they go so crazy fast! I can do it once in a while but it even feels silly : )
Hey Justin,
It was great to hear you have started the workout. I have to say this is the first home workout that I really have felt pushes me even when I am by myself. Have you noticed how fast that one man in the back goes during the power jumps?! I guess if we shoot for the best we will achieve great goals.
Good luck!
I am SO glad you are blogging your experience with this program. Not too many women sharing their experiences with this program. I am on day 5 and am feeling good, tired and a little sore, but overall pretty good. I’m also glad to hear I’m not the only one struggling with the 1-2-3′s. That is just ridiculous, I try to move as fast as them and it just doesn’t work. I push myself as much as possible. Today is Pure Cardio, I’m a little nervous for this one. It should be fun though.
This is a great program, thanks again for blogging!
My name is Tiffany and I am on day #4 of my Insanity workout. I am so sore that I am having a hard time walking around while I am at work during the day. Is anyone else experiencing intensely sore muscles? I didn’t quite finish the work out on day #2 and yesterday (day#3) I wasn’t able to keep up the whole time, but I actually finished the disk!
so that is a plus. I am curious to see how I am going to do tonight (#4) because I am so sore, I am not sure I can get my muscles to do what I need them to do. I really want to finish what I started, but I might need a little extra motivation. Any words of encouragement are welcome. Thanks.
My name is Gillian and I just started the Insanity workouts. I just finished Day #2. I CANNOT keep up… I am taking breaks when I need them and going at my own pace. By the middle of the workout my legs and arms are shaking involuntarily and I’m struggling to keep up with even half of the routines. After Day #1 (today) my muscles were very sore and I too had trouble moving at a “normal” pace. Try stretching a couple times a day. I have started to stretch in the morning when I get up, sometime in the afternoon and again for about 10 minutes before I start the Insanity workout. This should help… also I took an Aleve (Advil works too) around lunchtime which helped a lot.
I think this may be due to that fact that I am extremely out of shape and haven’t worked out in about 3 months. I am however, eating better and will continue to PUSH though the workouts at my own pace until I am able to keep up (which I’m hoping is soon)
Keep up the great work everyone!! It helps me a lot to be able to hear how everyone else’s workouts are going. So I’m not the only one dying on my floor at night
I’m on day 3 my boyfriend just ordered it an I wanted to give up but I love it!
Hi Guys,
just letting you know that you are not alone. I am all the way in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad. I am on day 3 of week 2. Thing is, even though I have been running 3-4 days per week for years, all of last week I had been in pain. Right now, its more or less gone, but my knees are sore. The work outs are very hard but I keep telling myself that if those guys on the dvd can do it, so can I.
Please remember to cut a few calories, cos it makes no sense to work your butts off like that and not reap the results.
I am so very glad to know that I am not going through this torture on my own.
Best of luck to all of you!
Amryl Joseph
Today is my first day..already hurting my inner thighs..this was just the fit test. I got insanity because I hate lifting weights and I reached a plateau where running wasn’t doing anything for me. So excited about tomorrow..my diet during this program is the biggest challenge. I will keep everyone updated on my progress..After today I saw how out of shape I really ams
