Insanity Workout Reviews:
My Take on Shaun T: I was a little nervous we were going to get the Shaun T of Hip Hop Abs with the Insanity Workout. I was afraid that might be a little bit annoying. Annoying could not be farther from the truth. Yeah Shaun T’s mood and attitude for Hip Hop Abs fit that exercise program great, but for a workout like Insanity he needed a different mood. And that is exactly what he brings. I gotta say Shaun T is awesome in the Insanity Workouts. He is extremely motivating, he always encourages you to push harder and dig deeper, but at the same time know your limits. Shaun T communicates perfectly the workout moves and positions so it is extremely easy to follow along too. You’ll never get lost. I gotta say Shaun T is the man in the Insanity Exercise Videos.
Week 1: Week 1 was very difficult for me. I haven’t worked out this hard in a really long time. Shaun T doesn’t waste any time getting in and digging deep. The muscles in my legs and lower back felt like they were on fire for 5 or 6 days. Near the end I could feel them relaxing. I’m glad to be through week 1. It was awesome and difficult.
Week 2: Week 2 for the Insanity Workout was even better then week 1. I can really start to feel my body getting in much better shape. I am able to get through the exercises and push my self and little further and dig a little deeper. I’m pumped that Shaun T is now tossing in the Cardio Abs DVD. In just 14 short days, I feel my stamina increase tremendously and I feel much stronger going through the Insanity workouts. Check out my Fit Test Score for Week 2. It’ll show you the difference.
Week 3 Insanity Workout Review: Why doesn’t it get easier? AAAhhhhhhhh… So week 3 is done and the Insanity Workout is still just as difficult as ever. It is still hard, but I keep feeling better and better when it comes to the strength and stamina of my muscles. It sure does feel good to be in shape again. Now it has only been 3 weeks so I am siked about finishing up the 60 days of the Insanity Workout.
Month 1 Insanity Workout Review: Well Month One of the Insanity Workout is complete! I’m very excited that I have gotten this far and only missed 1 insanity exercise. The best way for me to explain to you how month one went is in video… so I have a video for you of my Month 1 Insanity Workout Review. Check it out here.
Week 5 Insanity Workout Review: Yeah so… This was the Recovery Week… I thought it was kinda boring. I did not want to do the workouts so bad that I skipped Friday and Saturday. That ended up not being too bad because on Sunday I felt ready to go into Month 2 of the Insanity Workout. I think a few more days off was just what I needed. So no regrets this week… I am going to hit the 2nd month strong.
Week 6 Insanity Workout Reviews: Okay these workouts in month 2 of the Insanity Workout are CRAZY. They are about an hour long and pretty intense. Up to this point in the workout I am seeing some good results. I’m excited to see how I look at the end of this whole workout. I think I will see a change. Shaun T is the Man.
Week 7 Insanity Workout Reviews: This is pretty freaking crazy. So far the second Insanity month as provided more challenges then just the difficult workouts. I have been used to doing the 45 minute workouts and now they are all an hour. I’ve been running a little late to start work a few times because I need to remember the workouts are longer. Some of them you have to add the Ab workout, or the Fit test and it makes it even longer. They still rock… Oh and I figured out that in the Max Plyo DVD you do nearly 200 Push ups!
Week 8 Insanity Workout Review: 2nd to Last Week! This week was terrible because I was so sick. I missed quite a few of the workouts, because I was just too week to do them. I know that sometimes its okay to workout when you are sick, but this was not one of those times. I’m feeling better so coming into the last week of the Insanity Workout I am going to push hard.
