Today is Max Interval Plyometrics
I guess if you want to look like this…
These are the types of workouts you gotta do.
Here’s the deal for todays post… I’m seeing results I didn’t expect… Check this out.
I never really expected to actually lose inches on this workout. I am not a big person and don’t have much to “lose”. That was never my goal for doing the Insanity Workout.
I wanted to firm up and build a good strong core. Plus get in better cardio shape. I love to hike and mountain bike and I knew this workout would be awesome to get in shape.
BUT… I have lost inches around my waist. My pants and belts are not fitting like they used too. (what I do know is that I have traded that fat for muscle, because I don’t weigh any less!)
I’m kicking myself because I didn’t actually measure at the beginning. I didn’t think I’d need to or care to. But seeing fat traded for muscle is an extreme motivator and it’ll keep you working out… that is for sure.
So anyway… I think that is pretty cool. It shows that the Insanity Workout works. It gave me results I didn’t even expect. AWESOME!
Hint about the Insanity Workout:
Its NOT too hard. Many people have asked me if the Insanity Workout is going to be too hard. Well its not… see the great thing about Shaun T’s style is that he always tells you to go at your own pace.
- Don’t Over Do It
- Don’t Over Stretch
- Know Your Limits
- Do What You Can
These are things you’ll hear him say in every workout.
Now I’m not saying the workout is not hard… Its is hard… Its just not TOO HARD. You can go at your own pace until you work up your strength to follow along.

Note: If you have any medical conditions or any question in your mind about doing the workout in your condition, see a doctor. I am talking to people that are healthy and have no “conditions” that may be worsened by working out.
