Since today is the REST DAY (which is AWESOME!), I’ll tell you what I thought of the 1st week as a whole.

Coming into the Insanity Workout I knew that it was going to be difficult so I was prepared for that. I was not quite ready for how much my muscles would hurt in the first 4 days.

My legs, especially my calves, were on fire for 4 or 5 days and my back muscles were feeling the burn as well.

After the first few days though I started feeling very good. I was ready for the workouts and felt great because I was eating a lot healthier.  The workouts in week 1 were difficult and leave room for improvement as they repeat throughout the first month.  I can already tell that first month is really going to be prep for the second month, which is gearing up to be more difficult with longer workouts.

Shaun T - Creator of the Insanity Workout

Week 1 was pretty awesome. I slept like a little charm (I can’t say baby, because babies cry all the time at night, I know, I have two of them!). My body feels great, I feel healthy. So far I am really happy about the Insanity Workout and I am actually excited for tomorrow’s workout.

SHAUN T: To be honest I thought Shaun T might be kind of annoying leading this workout, but I could not have been farther from the truth. Shaun T is an awesome trainer and motivator. He constantly reminds you with tips to keep your form correct and he is always motivating to keep pushing through the difficult times of the workouts.

Shaun T is also pretty honest. In the Pure Cardio DVD is tells you that he is nervous about the workout coming up. Something about that brings him down to our level and for me encourages me to push through it.

So far the Insanity Workout Rocks!
